Writer: Rhiwbina InfoRhiwbina Info

Rhiwbina has been named as one of the best places to live in the UK.

A The Sunday Times article, published online today (Friday 21 March) states: "This model new town in the Welsh capital is the ideal suburb to make a capital, family-friendly investment".

Highlighting Rhiwbina's history and the garden village, opened in 1913, it also mentions its location, transport connections and many other benefits.

Snails Deli, Monico Movies, Beefy's Comedy Club, and the Art Workshop all get an honourable mention, along with many other local businesses and organisations.

The reporter may have miscounted the number of festivals, and strangely doesn't mention the award-winning information site!

But it's an interesting article, which underlines what we all know - Rhiwbina is one of the best places to live! You can read it here.

Rhiwbina is one of seven locations in Wales to make the list. The others are:

Gower Peninsula, Swansea (regional winner); Crickhowell, Powys; Maenclochog, Pembrokeshire; Penarth, Vale of Glamorgan; Presteigne, Powys; Vale of Clywd, Denbighshire.
