A house in Rhiwbina has featured in the latest episode of BBC Wales's Wales' Home of the Year TV show as one of the top three homes in South East Wales.
In last night's programme (Wednesday 13 November), the judges visited Graylands House in Rhiwbina to assess it against two other properties in the region - one in Barry and one in Penarth.
The judges, Radio 2 presenter Owain Wyn Evans, interior designer Mandy Watkins from Anglesey, and Cardiff-based architectural designer Glen Thomas, assess each property based on architectural merit, distinctive design, and original style.
They then choose one from each region to go to the final.
Graylands House is an extended semi-detatched home with a loft conversion.
Mandy commented: "What a lovely home. From the outset, you knew something special was inside because they've made such an effort on the exterior".
Owain added: "One of the things that I've really loved is the clever use of carpentry and storage. Clever storage that's hidden away and tucked away nicely, I think has been done to perfection."
And Glen said: "I love the continuity of this kind of hand-made raw-materials feel that runs throughout the home. It gives it to me a very contemporary, cool vibe."
We won't spoil the outcome by telling you how the judges voted, but you can watch the show (series 3, episode 2) on the BBC iPlayer here.
