Rhiwbina's community cinema, Monico Movies, will take the audience back almost a century with its next show - a rare screening of Buster Keaton's 1926 silent feature The General, with a live piano accompaniment.
Set during the American Civil War, the film is full of spectacular stunts and groundbreaking effects, as well as plenty of laughs.
The screening takes place on Saturday 14 September in Canolfan Beulah at 7.30pm.
Tickets at £5 will be available from the usual outlets - The Honey Pot, Serenade, Deri Stores, and Victoria Fearn Gallery.
The live piano accompaniment will be by distinguished composer and pianist Andrew Wilson-Dickson.
