New 'Cluedo' play and 'Unfortunate' head for Cardiff

Following the success of the original Cluedo play, stand by for a new comedy mystery, heading for Cardiff - Cluedo 2 - The Next Chapter.


With a new story set in the 1960s, the play is another spoof thriller, written by the BAFTA Award-winning TV writing duo, Laurence Marks and Maurice Gran, whose credits include Birds of a Feather and Dreamboats and Petticoats, and directed by Mark Bell, who directed the original Cluedo play in the UK and The Play That Goes Wrong. 

 

As the bodies pile up and the infamous colourful characters from the classic board game, Cluedo, dart from room to room trying to escape the murderer and survive the night, Cluedo 2, aims to keep you guessing right up to the finale.


Starring Jason Durr and Ellie Leach, Cluedo 2 plays at the New Theatre 25-29 June. You can find out more and book tickets here.


🎭 Before that, the New Theatre hosts Unfortunate - The Untold Story Of Ursula The Sea Witch, 7-11 May.


Described as an "outrageous and wickedly camp parody musical", Unfortunate gives Disney diva, Ursula, her chance to to explain what really happened all those years ago under the sea.
