Enrolment is now open for adult learning courses starting later this month (April).
Adult Learning Cardiff provides courses for learners of all abilities and is offering a range of vocational training and digital support that can help people improve their employment prospects.
Summer term courses start from April 15 and enrolment is happening now for courses such as Food Safety, First Aid, Health and Safety-related training, Childcare, and various numeracy training courses.
Courses are free to eligible learners and are designed to help people take their first steps back into learning, take part in further training or gain employment.
The service also provides digital support to Cardiff residents, including introductions to basic computer skills for those looking to upskill to get in to work, or for anyone who wants to get to grips with the latest technology.
Courses are held in hubs and community buildings across the city, including Rhiwbina Hub and others in North Cardiff. You can find information on courses and how to enrol at www.adultlearningcardiff.co.uk or phone 029 2087 2030.
💻 Free drop-in digital surgeries are held across the city for help with any digital training, digital device support and digital queries. These take place at Rhiwbina Hub on the last Wednesday of each month, 9am-5pm, and on other days at other nearby hubs, including Whitchurch, Llanishen, Llandaff North, Lisvane, Radyr, and Rydepennau.
